Speaking from personal experience being the child, trying to make a child participate in a team sport after they have tried it and disliked it can leave a bad taste in their mouth. I was in my mid- to late-20's before finally discovering a love for certain sports (tennis, fencing, swimming, etc.). I so much disliked my experience of feeling forced to play baseball as a kid that I figured I would feel the same way about all sports. Encouraging a child to explore and pick their own sports or "unsports" will lead to better commitment to the programs they do choose.a_wiley_coyotehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16623302230823169679noreply@blogger.com
